Salento is a sleepy town in the Zona Cafeteria (Coffee Region) of Colombia. I didn't want to leave! Hiked the Cocorra Valley and saw the world's tallest wax palm trees, went horseback riding to a waterfall, visited coffee plantations, hummingbird reserves, learned acro yoga and visited wonderful eco farms. I stayed at the wonderful La Serrana eco lodge and visited the Kasaguada reserve. I also spent a great day having lunch, coffee and discussing art with a lovely family. Colombians are incredibly nice and hospitable!
