Northern Argentina is stunning. I started by exploring the Jujuy province by bus: Purmamarca, Tilcara and Humahuaca to see the rainbow mountains, inca ruins and cactus valleys. After a fun new years in Salta, we rented a car to explore the diverse and colorful andes valleys. We started in Salta, headed south to Cachi, La Poma, Seclantas (and the amazing Ascibi caves), Molino, and Angastaco. We stopped in Cafayate to visit vineyards (Tannat and Tannarbe wines) and goat cheese farms. Then finished with a bike riding day in Tafi del Valle before finishing up in Tucuman and then Mendoza (wine country again - this time Malbec). We had an amazing crew, ate llama dry sausage and had wine ice cream. It was lovely!
