I continued my adventure up the coast to Paraty and Ihla Grande. Paraty is a colonial town with a beautiful center, delicious dessert trucks, boat excursions galore and natural waterslides. We cliff jumped, snorkeled, and enjoyed the beautiful beaches. From there we took a ferry to Ihla Grande, a car-free island with beaches accessible by hikes, bakeries or boat.
From Colombia, I flew to Lima and worked my way down to Cusco by bus, stopping in a few wonderful places along the way. Lima had delicious food, Paracas had penguins, and Huacachina was an oasis with dune sandboarding! This was already a few weeks ago, but I haven't been able to find good enough internet to upload pics until now.
